MiPLOY is free for workers. We do not charge a subscription fee or a platform commission to the worker. You keep the vast majority of what you earn.
Because we use Stripe for secure, instant payments, there are two pass-through costs required by the payment processor:
1. $0.25 per transaction: Charged by Stripe to process the payment.
2. $2.00 per month: A maintenance fee charged by Stripe only for the months you are active and receiving payments.
Payments are processed immediately after the contractor confirms the job is complete. Depending on your bank, the funds typically appear in your account within 1–3 business days.
No. The 12% transaction fee is handled on the contractor’s side. As a worker, your only costs are the standard Stripe processing fees mentioned above.
Once your profile is set up and verified, you will receive notifications for jobs in your area that match your skills. You can review the job details, location, and pay before choosing to accept.
If a project’s scope changes, you should discuss it with the contractor immediately. Any adjustments to the final payment must be updated through the app to ensure you are covered by our payment protection.
Yes. After every job, contractors will rate your performance. High ratings increase your visibility and make it easier to land high-paying jobs in the future.
MiPLOY uses Stripe to ensure you get paid directly and securely. We never store your sensitive banking information on our servers; it is all handled by Stripe’s industry-leading security.
MiPLOY is designed to protect you. Contractors are required to have the funds verified before a job begins. If the work is completed as agreed and the contractor refuses to release payment, our support team will step in to mediate.
Go to the Profile section of the app. Keeping your skills and location updated ensures you only see the most relevant and high-paying opportunities near you.
MiPLOY operates on a simple, transactional model. There are no monthly subscriptions and no sign-up fees. We only charge when you successfully hire a worker.
A flat 12% transaction fee is added to the total labor cost of the job. For example, if you hire a worker for $100, the total cost to you is $112. This fee covers platform access, worker matching, and payment processing.
No. You can post as many jobs as you need. You are only charged the 12% fee when a job is completed and payment is released.
Every worker on MiPLOY has a profile with a rating and review history from other contractors. You can see their past performance, skill sets, and reliability score before you ever send a job offer.
If a worker fails to show up, you are not charged. You can quickly repost the job to our pool of available workers to find a replacement. We also track "no-shows"—workers who do this consistently are removed from the platform.
Absolutely. You can mark workers as "Favorites" in the app, making it easier to send them direct job offers for future projects.
All payments are handled securely through the app via Stripe. Once the job is finished, you confirm the completion, and the funds are automatically transferred. You don’t need to carry cash or write checks on-site.
MiPLOY simplifies your back-office work. Since the workers are independent contractors using the platform, and payments are processed through Stripe, the platform helps you track your annual spend for easy tax reporting.
Yes. We use Stripe, the world's leading payment processor, to handle all transactions. MiPLOY never stores your credit card or bank account details on our own servers.
We’ve built a professional Check-In/Check-Out tool directly into the app to help you meet federal recordkeeping standards. Under 29 CFR Part 516, the law requires you to maintain accurate records of employee information, wages, and hours worked. While the law says there is “no particular order or form” required, it is your responsibility to "track the time correctly." MiPLOY does this for you automatically, creating a digital paper trail for every job.
Beyond just tracking hours, this tool provides "Proof of Work." It logs the exact time and GPS location of when a worker starts and finishes a task. This protects you from overpaying and ensures you have the necessary documentation should you ever face a regulatory inquiry.
Yes. Every transaction and time log is archived in your dashboard. If you ever need to prove hours worked or wages paid for a specific project, the data is available at the click of a button.
